The CH103 Sofa is a distinctive three-person sofa which, with its simple combination of stainless steel and traditional upholstery with leather covering, will fit in many modern interiors. CH103 is part of Wegner’s CH100 series from 1970.
Danish furniture designer Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative, and prolific designers of all times, renowned for his precision, great insight into craftsmanship and uncompromising approach to design. Wegner designed nearly 500 chairs in his lifetime and was often referred to as the master of the chair.
Sofa with refined design
CH103 is a three-seater sofa which is part of the versatile CH100 series that Hans J. Wegner designed in 1970 for modern interiors. In addition to the CH103 sofa, the series also consists of an armchair, a two-seater sofa and a four-seater sofa as well as two coffee tables. The solid interior frame of Wegner’s sofa is padded to the highest standards. The stainless steel frame with a brushed surface and distinctive bends demonstrates Wegner’s interest in working with this material. The cushions are made of a foam core surrounded by down which makes them stable, but at the same time, soft.
