Designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm
Designed in 1963, the FK63 Bookcase System now joins carl Hansen’s & Søn’s collection of timeless furniture. Available in wall-mounted or standalone versions, the latter of which rests on an elegant metal frame, the bold yet elegant piece has been carefully crafted from FSC™-certified oak, oiled to accentuate the texture and grain of the wood and detailed with the hallmarks of great cabinetmaking. The array of flexible modules – including open shelves, optional smooth-sliding trays, and full-width cabinets fitted with brass handles – lets you customize the design to suit your needs. Designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958, the BM0253 Shelving System is now put into production for the first time by Carl Hansen & Søn, bringing streamlined storage solutions to modern spaces. Adapting effortlessly to modern life, the minimalist, module-based design can be configured and reconfigured to suit changing needs and style. Crafted in Denmark to exacting standards, the tubular steel mounts and FSC™-certified wooden shelves and cupboards are offered in a range of classic colors and discerning finishes. Optimizing floor space, the standalone system lets you place shelves at varying heights to display your favorite objects and sliding cabinet doors allow you to seamlessly stow items out of sight. Customize the BM0253 to fit your space using our online application that lets you experiment with combinations and colors to create the perfect solution for you.
