The RF1905 Sideways Coffee Table combines traditional Danish craftsmanship and materiality with contemporary aesthetics. Designed by Rikke Frost, it consists of two parts - an organic, round solid wooden frame and a reversible tabletop. Resting on top of inlaid brass brackets, the tabletop is available in oak or walnut with a reversible laminate side or, alternatively, Italian marble.
Rikke Frost (b.1973) is recognised for her profound knowledge of materials and for how she combines different craft traditions. This is clearly reflected in her portfolio of designs, where contemporary and traditional design axioms and materials converge in organically styled furniture and lighting. In addition to her distinctive expression, often featuring circular shapes, Frost is keenly focused on creating long-lasting, functional designs that put people first.
Interchangeable Modern Design
Designed by Rikke Frost, who is known for her soft and organic typology and exploration of materials, this contemporary round coffee table features a traditional handcrafted wooden frame with a reversible tabletop. Resting on four elegant brass fittings, it offers versatility to a variety of interior settings, available in oak or walnut with laminate on the reverse side. An alternative version in Italian marble introduces a more prominent expression to the design. An additional shelf sits below as a space to rest your phone, tablet or book. Ideal for both residential and public settings, the RF1905 Sideways Coffee Table displays a neat and refined aesthetic that echoes the soft curves and material combinations of the existing Sideways Series and as such can be used in conjunction with or as a stand-alone piece.
