The Embrace Outdoor Lounge Sofa is a flexible, modular design featuring a solid FSC-certified untreated teak frame and soft upholstery. A hand-woven flat rope back and armrests support soft upholstery in a range of earthy colours. The sofa is fully customisable and can be freely combined from seven standard modules.
The design studio EOOS, founded by Martin Bergmann (b. 1963), Gernot Bohmann (b. 1968) and Harald Gründl (b. 1967), enjoys a reputation for its poetic approach to design. By employing an analytical approach to the design process, the three designers have created a range of industrial and social designs that have garnered numerous awards and global recognition.

The Embrace Outdoor Lounge Sofa is a modular design balancing a contemporary expression with durable functionality. Designed by EOOS as part of the Embrace Outdoors Series, the sofa challenges the perception of indoor/outdoor lounging, bringing supreme comfort to outdoor spaces. Comprised of seven standard modules, the sofa is designed for highly flexible customisation to fit any outdoor space. A solid FSC-certified untreated teak frame shows the beauty in its durable qualities, with a grain that patinas to a silvery hue over time. The tightly handwoven flat rope back and armrests support soft, weather-resistant upholstery. Available in a range of colours inspired by the Scandinavian landscape, the quick-drying foam cushions can be mixed and matched for personalisation and are removable to allow for easy cleaning and storage.
