Nanna Ditzel’s ND54 High Chair
Widely regarded as a masterpiece of modern design for small children, Nanna Ditzel’s ND54 High Chair was created in 1954 in collaboration with her husband, Jørgen. Using their twin girls as a reference point, they determined the precise proportions of the piece, creating it as a practical addition to a dining room set of their own design.
Now redesigned by Carl Hansen & Søn to meet modern demands for safety, the ND54 High Chair remains at the forefront of craftsmanship, design and beauty. The minimalist yet sturdy chair is handcrafted in FSC®-certified solid wood and comes fitted with a leather safety strap and optional back rest to ensure children sit comfortably. Three stainless steel name plates included with the chair can be engraved, making the highchair is a family treasure to pass down to generations to come.
ND54 high chair assembled with ND54 Baby Backrest complies with EN 14988:2017+A1:2020 (COR. 2020-03). This product is intended for children able to sit up unaided and up to 3 years or a maximum of 15 kg.
