BT1091 | Confetti Pendants, Set of 2

The BT1091 Confetti Pendants were designed by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. The prolific Danish architects created the double-pendant design as part of a series of geometric-inspired lighting, completed in 1970. The Confetti Pendants – available in polished brass or lacquered steel – feature slim cone-shaped shades that complement the functionalist forms of the two other lamps in the series. All three designs are fitted with a half-mirror lightbulb set lower than the shade, chosen by Bonderup and Thorup for its light-reflecting properties.
Claus Bonderup (1943–2022) and Torsten Thorup (b.1944) are regarded as some of the most prolific post-modern designers, leaving their mark on everything from architecture and international design projects to industrial design. At their shared studio, Torsten Thorup & Claus Bonderup Arkitekter MAA MDD, they carried out many successful projects over the years, particularly in the areas of housing, hotels and museums.
