Using their twin girls as a reference point, they determined the precise proportions of the piece, creating it as practical addition to a dining room set of their own design.

Now redesigned by Carl Hansen & Søn to meet modern demands for safety, the ND54 High Chair remains at the forefront of craftsmanship, design, and beauty.

The minimalist yet sturdy chair is handcrafted in FSC®-certified solid wood and comes fitted with a leather safety strap and optional backrest to ensure children sit comfortably. Three stainless steel name plates included with the chair can be engraved, making the highchair a family treasure to pass down to generations to come.

ND54 high chair assembled with ND54 Baby Backrest complies with EN 14988:2017+A1:2020 (COR. 2020-03). This product is intended for children able to sit up unaided and up to 3 years or a maximum of 15 kg.
