The CH291 Lounge Chair was designed in 1962, showcasing classic Hans J. Wegner hallmarks in a stringent FSC™-certified solid oak frame and contrasting, relaxed upholstery. Danish furniture designer Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative, and prolific designers of all times, renowned for his precision, great insight into craftsmanship and uncompromising approach to design. Wegner designed nearly 500 chairs in his lifetime and was often referred to as the master of the chair.
