No Christmas without elves

Together with the Christmas tree and Christmas presents, Santa has become part of the Danish Christmas tradition. The story of the elf as a nice little creature was created by the painter Constantin Hansen in the 1830s. Since then, the little creature has embraced Christmas as a cozy element. Santa is also a regular visitor at Carl Hansen & Søn at Christmas. The Handcrafted glass elves were designed by glass artist Tina Lofstad. The elevs are simple in clear glass with red hats. The position of the hat gives the elf character and "personality" and provides input for your very own Christmas story. As the elves are handmade, no two are alike.
