Danish furniture designer Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative, and prolific designers of all times, renowned for his precision, great insight into craftsmanship and uncompromising approach to design. Wegner designed nearly 500 chairs in his lifetime and was often referred to as the master of the chair.

The CH104 sofa is part of the CH100 series of versatile furniture that Hans J. Wegner designed in 1970 for modern interiors. In addition to the CH104, the series also consists of a lounge chair, a two-seater, a three-seater and two coffee tables. The solid interior wooden frame of Wegner’s sofa is upholstered according to the best quality standards. The stainless steel frame with the brushed surface and distinctive bends also demonstrates Wegner’s understanding of this material. The pillows are made of foam core wrapped in down for dimensional stability and comfort.
