Intelligent design and toy

A supplement to Peter’s Chair, Peter’s Table was created by Hans J. Wegner as a brilliant toy and piece of furniture. He gave it to his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen’s son as a christening gift. Crafted from untreated beech, the table’s components have no sharp edges, making them comfortable to touch. The table is very easy to assemble without any tools and functions as an inviting, three-dimensional puzzle for children and adults alike. Since going into production, Peter’s Chair and Table have remained cherished classics.
