Introducing the iconic CH24 Wishbone Chair by Hans J. Wegner, now reimagined with a soft leather seat.
For more than 70 years, Hans J. Wegner’s CH24 Wishbone Chair has been in continuous production at Carl Hansen & Søn, with its iconic design remaining unchanged. Its light and distinctive expression is the result of more than 100 steps of craftsmanship.
Now, the icon is reimagined with a soft leather seat in four natural shades and seven carefully selected variants. The leather adds warmth and tactility while preserving the characteristic lightness and balance of Wegner’s original design.
The campaign applies exclusively to the seven listed variants. Wood and leather options are available only in the combinations shown.
The campaign runs from 1 October to 31 December 2026.
Leather
A carefully curated selection of four natural shades, ranging from soft aniline TERRA® leather, with its silky-matte surface and natural patina, to the more durable LOKE and THOR leathers, offering greater resistance to everyday wear and stains. Each offers its own distinct character, tactility and durability.

Known for his uncompromising approach to function, Wegner believed that materials should serve both purpose and experience. More than seventy years on, the Wishbone Chair continues to demonstrate how timeless design can be thoughtfully reinterpreted through a considered choice of material that deepens its expression while preserving its essence.
