Award-winning Danish designer Anker Bak nurtured his approach to traditional craft and human-centric design while living and working in Japan, China, and Finland. Placing people’s needs at the core of his process, his designs focus on adaptability, with a view to creating more space for everyday ease. Inspired by his own experiences of Japanese tiny living, Anker Bak’s elegant and functional desk presents versatile work and play solutions for smaller spaces. The AB019 Wall Desk displays a pared-back, minimalist expression with beautiful, functional details. This flat-packed design consists of a slim oak or laminate tabletop with a softly rounded edge that serves as a comfortable armrest. Contrasting stainless steel wall mounts give a sense of lightness and solid oak cover caps hide away the screws for a seamless look. An optional AB020 Wall Desk Drawer crafted from solid oak can be mounted underneath in a separate stainless steel support or placed directly on the desk as a laptop stand.
