ボーエ・モーエンセン（1914-1972）は使用する人びとを核に、その独特のコンセプトで耐久性に優れた家具を世に送り出してきました。第二次大戦後、デニッシュモダンを牽引した大きな影響力を残すデザイナーの一人です。 モーエンセンはデモクラティック・デザインを掲げ、住宅、コントラクトに向けた、シンプルで機能性に優れた木製家具を数多く発表。いずれも控えめな美学と耐久性を考慮した構造が特長となっています。デザインの基盤となっているのは、明確な構造と装飾をできるだけそぎ落とすこと、そして実験的な試み。その好例がハンティングテーブルやデッキチェアのセットです
