Carl Hansen & Søn take over marketing of Strand+Hvass furniture from Tranekaer Furniture

Carl Hansen & Søn have now taken over marketing of the Tranekaer Furniture range of furniture designed by Strand+Hvass. In future, the furniture will be marketed under the Carl Hansen & Søn brand.

Strand+Hvass is a design firm based in Copenhagen. Founded in 1998, the firm is run by Christina Strand, MDD. and Niels Hvass, MAA. Strand+Hvass began working for Tranekaer Furniture in 1999, and have created a number of pieces for the company.

The following Strand+Hvass designs are now marketed by Carl Hansen & Søn:
