The CH290F Footstool was designed in 1962 by Hans J. Wegner as part of the wider CH290 Series. With a versatile, relaxed expression, the footstool can be used in combination with other designs from the CH290 Series or as a stand-alone piece. An FSC™-certified solid oak frame supports a carefully upholstered seat with a removable fabric or leather cover.
Danish furniture designer Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) is considered one of the most creative, innovative, and prolific designers of all times, renowned for his precision, great insight into craftsmanship and uncompromising approach to design. Wegner designed nearly 500 chairs in his lifetime and was often referred to as the master of the chair.
