The trivet is convenient for hot plates, pots and pans to protect the table and other delicate surfaces from heat damage and when you turn it upside down it turns into a very nice tray as well. Do not leave the CHS-Wood accessories wet or under the water for too long when washing - the CHS-Wood accessories should be exposed to as little water as possible. After cleaning, place the CHS-Wood accessories in an upright position to dry and do not place it near heat sources.
