The CHS Grinder is turned upside/down to make sure that you don't waste any salt and pepper on the table. Maintenance: Your CHS- wood accessories have been treated with a food approved, flavourless oil from the factory. The Oil protects your CHS-Wood accessories against cracks and applies a glow to the wood. To maintain the CHS-Wood accessories´ resistance and glow, we recommend regular oil treatment. Always wash it by hand. The dishwasher can cause it to wrap. Do not leave the CHS-Wood accessories wet or under the water for too long when washing - the CHS-Wood accessories should be exposed to as little water as possible. After cleaning, place the CHS-Wood accessories in an upright position to dry and do not place it near heat sources.
