Designed by the design studio, EOOS, the E018 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Chair echoes the light and poetic expression of the wider Embrace Outdoors Series. Crafted from untreated FSC™-certified teak that develops a sophisticated silver-grey patina over time, the lounge chair features a wide seat and backrest with gently angled back legs. Created for supreme comfort outdoors, the E018 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Chair can be used with or without its signature, weather-resistant, upholstered cushion, available in muted, neutral shades. The chair can be stacked and stored in groups of up to four.
The design studio EOOS, founded by Martin Bergmann (b. 1963), Gernot Bohmann (b. 1968) and Harald Gründl (b. 1967), enjoys a reputation for its poetic approach to design. A captivating combination of solid wood, steel and casual upholstery unites traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary aesthetic, conveying the confidence of a future design classic. Through EOOS’s poetic approach to design, the E018 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Chair explores the relationship between a tense, handcrafted wooden frame and tight upholstery. With a wide seat and backrest and gently angled back legs, the lounge chair showcases a tactile, sculptural aesthetic in a highly finished, solid FSC™-certified teak frame that develops a unique patina over time. Created for supreme comfort outdoors, relaxed upholstery presents an elegant contrast against the sleek and precise woodwork. Designed for versatility, the removable, weather-resistant cushions are customisable, available in three muted hues, inspired by colours found in nature. The E018 Lounge Chair is stackable in groups of up to four, and pairs with the E023 Embrace Outdoor Lounge Table.
